Bhí Seachtain Gníomach again arís i nGaelscoil Ros Eo i mbliana.
Bhí an scoil iomlán ag glacadh páirte i gcuid mhór rudaí difriúla chun 60 nóiméad gníomhaíocht a dhéanamh i lá amháin, mar a mholtar.
Rinne an Coiste Gníomhach seic gach lá ar cé a tháinig ar scoil ag siúl nó ar rothar.
- Bhí stáisiúin spóirt idir na ranganna shóisir agus ranganna shinsir. Ar an drochuair, bhí sé ag cur báistí Dé Máirt ach bhí fós craic againn leo taobh istigh.
- D’eagraigh Vinny ó Naomh Maur blitz peile dúinn idir na ranganna
- Ceachtanna bunghluaiseacht lenar Oifigeach Spóirt do Fhine Gall.
- Ceacht leadóige
- Múinteoirí V Rang a 6 i gcluiche corr
- Bhí na ranganna ag glacadh páirte i sosanna gníomhach, íoga agus am Drop Everything and Move.
Beidh seachtain den scoth againn agus maith sibh gach duine a bhí páirteach ann!
Gaelscoil Ros Eo have been participating in ‘Active Week’ again this year.
The whole school have been getting involved in a number of activities to achieve the goal of 60 minutes of activity every day including;
- A walk around the pitches every morning with parents
- No written homework! The children completed Super Troopers activities.
- We focused on active travel to school. The Coiste Gníomhach kept a tally on how many children walked or cycled to school each day.
- Junior and Senior sports stations. Unfortunately it rained on Tuesday so we completed the stations indoors but still had a lot of fun.
- Vinny from St. Maur’s organised a football blitz between classes.
- Fundamental movement lessons with our Fingal Sport’s Officer
- Tennis lessons
- Múnteoirí Vs Rang a 6 rounders game
- On Friday the children dressed in the club/ sports team colours.
- All classes completed numerous busy breaks, yoga sessions and had Drop Everything And Move as well as DEAR time
It has been a fantastic week and well done to everyone who took part!
